Yesterday was one of Those days. After a morning of battling for hot water, I eventually got things going, and put leave-in conditioner in my hair, in the hopes of being able to have a shower by the time it had dried, half an hour or so later… Of course, then Colm rang, to tell me he was in the Montrose, and wanted to go for a drive. Ten minutes, a bird-bath and quick change later, I was in the car, hair still gunked.
We drove the windy backroads to Bray – the original plan had been Greystones, but the map ended around Bray, and we had had so many wrong turns up to then that we decided it was safer to stop there 
We had ice-creams and a brief walk along the seafront, before it was time to head back, by a much more sane route. On the way, I missed a call from Steve, and arranged to meet him & Mark in Ranelagh…
We headed to the Coffee Society, where we all had most yummy hot-chocolates (Mark & I got ours with marshmallows – yay!), and shared a veritable slab of chocolate cake After a while, we decamped to town, found Aya, discovered that Niall wasn’t going to be around for a while, walked several kilometers (no really – 4.46km, some of them heavily-laden with techie junk) around town, and returned to Aya, where Steve, Niall, and another Googlie (Dim) had the sushi free-for-all, Mark had steak, and I nibbled. It was all good, and many laughs were had. Yay for friends
